This is the genealogical reconstruction from first hand French colonial sources that refuted the myth created by Swanton 1911 of a matrilineal "Honored class" and lead to the once-demographically famous "Natchez Paradox." |

Dumont (1753) mostly secondhand accounts from White Earth village. 1721. Father Charlevoix (Shea 1872) gave second hand early data but his historical material on the 1721-1731 period is excellent. |
