Description

Description: The dataset is a genealogical network of members of the Ragusan nobility from the 12th to the 16th century. It contains 5999 individuals and 2002 marriages.
Data have been collected by Irmgard Mahnken in her PhD dissertation of 1960 and coded in gedcom format by Polona Dremelj (diploma thesis, Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Ljubljana, Slovenia, 1999). The dataset has been used as a model network for the demonstration of the pajek program.
