Description: | The dataset is the genealogical network of the Kel Kummer Tuareg (Mali). The dataset is based on the punchard nr 4 reproduced in Chaventré 1983, pp. 91-123 The Kel Kummer are patrilineal and have patrilocal residence groups. The dataset has been coded using Chaventré's original ID numbers. People called "XXX" already appear as such in his table. People without any name in the orginal source are called "YYY" here. The dataset contains 3 attributes corresponding to partitions: – LignMajor: 15 major lineages + Tengeregedesh [16] + Kel-Esuk [17] + a 'zero' partition coded as 0. – LignMinor: 19 minor lineages + Kel-Esuk [20] + Tengeregedesh [21] + a 'zero' partition coded as 0. – CELIBA, where "Marr" is for married people and "Celi" for those either unmarried or without a known spouse. |
